REMIX Cold Pressed Juice Bali visited the Twat Twam Asi orphanage last Sunday (15/03/15) to provide a heart healthy breakfast for the amazing children there. We made a special concoction of banana choco superfood smoothie which we know the kids will love! (a combo of kale, spinach, banana, cacao powder, milk, yoghurt, flaxseeds, honey, mm delish!)
After lunch and playing games together, we provided fresh young coconut water to hydrate them for the rest of the day!
We also donated boxes of food, clothes, cereal & milk so they can start their day with a fiber-packed breakfast before going to school. We believe that it is the most important meal of the day as it will help them concentrate more in class and provide energy to do activities throughout the day!
It was a joyous day filled with laughter and love, and we couldn't be much happier sharing a bit of REMIX to everyone.
We are currently planning out a project with these kids to help fund a college program for the children who are in grade 10/11.
Through a higher education, it will help them get closer to achieving their dreams, or the very least, lead a better life in the future.
